About Pace
Pace is an iOS app that gives you one weekly number that's safe to spend, after your bills and savings goals are counted. I publish it through Purple Bluebonnets Labs LLC, a United States company, and it's on the US App Store.
Who I am
I'm Aditya. I build Pace, and I use it on my own money every week.
Pace exists because zero-based budgeting kept failing me. Assigning every dollar a job works if you maintain it. The maintenance is where I quit, first on YNAB and then on Copilot. So Pace does the work instead: it counts the bills first, protects savings, and shows one number for the week. Then Bob keeps me on track, and discipline builds as streaks compound.
Managing money is hard and no one really teaches you how, my goal with Pace is to bridge that gap and help everyone be better with money
How I write about money
- I'm not a financial advisor. Nothing here is financial advice. Pace is a budgeting tool, not a lender, bank, broker, or money transmitter. It never holds or moves your money.
- Comparisons name the tradeoffs. When I compare Pace to YNAB, Copilot, or anything else, I say where the other tool is better. A comparison where Pace wins every row wouldn't be worth reading.
- Your bank connection is read-only. Account linking runs through Plaid. I never see or store your banking credentials.
- Posts may be out of date. I try to keep up and revise when things change, but this space moves fast and features get added and removed. Every post shows its date.
