1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use Pace, you must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Nature of Services

Pace helps users understand spending, bills, goals, and available cash through account aggregation, transaction categorization, "Your Number" estimates, quizzes, and AI-powered explanations from Bob.

  • Educational Use: Pace insights are informational and should not be treated as professional advice.
  • User Decisions: You are responsible for reviewing information and making your own financial decisions.
  • Data Accuracy: Estimates depend on connected-account data, user inputs, third-party availability, and categorization quality.
  • AI Review: Bob may generate incomplete or incorrect explanations, categories, or suggested changes. You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them.

4. Accuracy and Availability

Pace may contain errors, delays, incomplete data, or AI-generated explanations that require your review. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

5. No Professional Advice

Pace does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, or accounting advice. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making decisions that affect your finances.

6. Connected Accounts and Partners

Pace can use third-party services such as Plaid, Privy, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, PostHog, GlitchTip/Sentry-compatible tooling, AI providers, and infrastructure providers to operate account linking, authentication, subscriptions, analytics, error reporting, and AI features. Your use of those features may also be subject to partner terms and platform rules.

You authorize Pace to use connected-account, subscription, receipt, notification, and user-provided data to provide the Service, detect recurring bills, calculate your number, and generate Bob explanations.

7. Subscriptions and Cancellation

Pace Pro subscriptions are managed through the applicable app-store platform. You can cancel or manage an iOS subscription through your Apple account subscriptions page. Deleting your Pace account does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription.

8. Account Deletion and Wallet Export

You can request account deletion in the app or through the account deletion page. If wallet export features are available, you are responsible for securing any exported private key or wallet credentials. Never share private keys with anyone.

9. Arbitration Agreement

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Pace agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court if applicable. This includes a waiver of your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
